So good, so good, so good!

Every summer that Keith & I have been together (with the exception of last year, because I was either 9 months pregnant & moody, or recovering from my c-section), we have traveled to Boston to go to Fenway Park to see the Boston Red Sox play. About a week before tickets went on sale, we decided that this year, Aubrey was going to go to her first game. We got standing room seats because they're just about the cheapest tickets in the park, and if we had to leave early for whatever reason, we wouldn't be out a lot of money. Since she is under 2, we didn't even have to buy her a ticket.

We weren't even going to go to the game. We were supposed to get hit by Hurricane Earl the night the game was going on. They ended up rescheduling the game for the next day so that worked out better for us (for the record, we BARELY got any rain!). We got into Boston at noon and took the T straight to Fenway for the 1:05 game.

Well, we were right. At the start of the 4th inning, Aubrey wanted nothing to do with the game. I tried letting her walk around when I took her to the bathroom, and even in between innings.. but she was tired of sitting so we packed everything up and left. I was kind of bummed because, at every Fenway game, in the 8th inning, Sweet Caroline is played and everyone gets really into it and it's my favorite part of the game.

I yanked this off of Youtube. It starts getting good at 0:30.

They lost 3-1 to the Chicago White Sox so we weren't too upset to miss the end of the game. Here are some pictures we got before she started to get too cranky:

On the train. Keith's dad got her the Cheerleader outfit for her birthday. Too cute.

This was right when we go to Fenway. She woke up as soon as the crowd went started cheering when the first pitch was thrown.

My new favorite picture of us!

Aubrey & her daddy!

Ridiculous Fenway prices.. I ended up paying almost $25 for 2 Italian sausages, fries, and 2 bottles of soda, which weren't even your typical 20 oz size.. they were only 12 oz and $3 a piece. I was blown away! We should have brought our own drinks. They didn't even check our diaper bag when we went in. Definitely keeping that in the back of my mind for next year.

In all, we had a good time and we can't wait to try again next year!!
